Diario de Mallorca reports that he was arrested by the National Police on Monday following the alleged assault the previous night. The two Britons, a 42 year old woman and a 26 year old man, had met for the first time in their hotel on Sunday and spent several hours together before the man allegedly tried to force himself on the woman and pushed her to the floor.
It’s understood that she telephoned the local police after reaching her hotel room, who accompanied her to file an official complaint with the National Police.
