Guardia Civil has arrested two British women for fighting with knives in Sant Antonio, Ibiza, according to a statement issued on Friday.
The British tourists, 29 year old Danielle V.P. and 28 year old Rachel Anne B.H. are reported to have been fighting with knifes in an argument over jealousy, according to investigators. One of them was carrying a kitchen knife and the other what is described as a barber’s shaving knife.
Neither of the two arrested were injured but two people who tried to stop the fight were. One needed several stitches to a wound according to the Guardia Civil.
It’s not the first time that knives have been used in a fight between British tourists this summer in Elvissa. Last July 28 two youngsters ended up n the Can Misses Hospital after a mass brawl, with one of the stabbed in the ribs, neck, and chest with a broken bottle, and another stabbed twice on the wrist. That fight was at the Jet Apartments and reportedly started when one person threw the other into the swimming pool and involved Liverpool and Manchester United supporters
